Terms of Service
Version: 2026-10-27 · Effective Date: October 27, 2026 · Last Updated: October 27, 2026
IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Bel Air Studios at belairstudios.ai and its associated domains (the "Service") and every purchase you make from us. You accept these Terms when you check the box at checkout, and by using the Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service or make a purchase.
1. The Parties
These Terms are between you ("Client," "you") and Bel Air Films, Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business as Bel Air Studios, with a registered address of 16192 Coastal Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958 ("Bel Air," "we," "us," "our"). If you purchase on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it, and "you" includes that company.
2. The Service, and How It Is Made
Bel Air Studios is a script-to-screen production pipeline. It includes services for writers (Coverage, Workshop, Read Through) and services for producers (script breakdown, schedules, budgets, casting breakdowns, location and incentive analysis, shot plans, storyboards and previsualization, pitch packages, proof-of-concept scenes, commercial spots, and full digital production) (together, the "Services"). Each Service's scope, deliverables and price are as described on the Service at the time of purchase.
The Services are produced with artificial intelligence. Our AI systems run on Bel Air's own computers. We do not send your material to third-party AI services. Any performers, faces and voices in our deliverables are generated, not recorded from real people, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
3. Accounts
Some Services require an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us at once through our contact form if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. Prices and Payment
Prices are shown on the Service at the time of purchase, in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed by Square, a third-party payment processor; we never see or store your full card number. Sales tax may apply.
Production starts at payment. Your order is placed in production the moment your payment is charged. By checking out you ask us to begin work immediately.
Deposits. For Services sold with a deposit, the deposit is paid at checkout and the balance is invoiced. The deposit starts the work. The balance is due by the date on the invoice, and in any case before final deliverables are released. Quoted Services (such as full digital production) are scoped after a walkthrough and are confirmed by a written quote that refers to these Terms.
5. No Refunds
All sales are final and non-refundable, including deposits. Your order is placed in production the moment you pay, at your request, so there is no cancellation window. Where the law of your country gives consumers a right to cancel online purchases, you expressly request immediate performance at checkout and acknowledge that you lose that right once performance has begun. Our Refund Policy is part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits any right that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
6. Your Material
You keep full ownership of every screenplay, treatment, outline and other material you give us ("Your Material"). Our Script Submission Terms & Release apply to Your Material and are part of these Terms. In short: we use Your Material only to provide the Services you ordered; we do not sell or share it; we do not use it to train AI models; and we process it on our own systems.
You confirm that you own Your Material or have permission to give it to us for this purpose, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
7. Who Owns the Deliverables
Producer Services. Once you have paid in full, you own the deliverables we make for you from Your Material: breakdowns, schedules, budgets, casting breakdowns, analyses, shot plans, storyboards, previsualization, pitch materials, and finished scenes and spots. You may use them for any purpose connected with your project, including financing, production, distribution and marketing.
Writer Services. Coverage reports, Workshop documents and Read Through audio are for your use in developing your script. You may share them with collaborators, producers, agents, managers and financiers. You may not republish a full coverage report publicly or sell it.
What Bel Air keeps. Bel Air keeps ownership of its software, AI models, methods, rubrics, templates, and the generated performers, sets and other assets it builds in order to make deliverables ("Bel Air Assets"). You receive a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use Bel Air Assets as they appear in your deliverables, for your project. Generated performers are not made in the likeness of any real person.
8. Budgets, Schedules and Analyses Are Estimates
Budgets, schedules, location and incentive analyses, and similar deliverables are planning documents. They are estimates based on the information available when we make them. Rates, incentive programs and laws change. You should have them reviewed by your line producer, accountant, and legal and tax advisers before relying on them. Bel Air does not guarantee any cost, saving, incentive, tax credit or schedule outcome.
9. Unions, Guilds and Use of Generated Performers
You are responsible for complying with any union, guild and collective-bargaining obligations that apply to your project, including those of SAG-AFTRA, the WGA and the DGA. If you use generated performers, voices or likenesses in a finished production, that decision and its compliance are yours, made with your own advisers. Bel Air makes no representation that any use is permitted under any agreement you are party to.
10. Confidentiality
We keep Your Material, your project and your deliverables confidential, and use them only to provide the Services. We will not disclose them to anyone outside Bel Air without your written consent, except where required by law. We will not name you or your project as a client without your permission.
11. Walkthroughs
Walkthroughs are free demonstrations for production companies. We demonstrate on a test script of our own choosing, never on yours. A walkthrough creates no obligation for either party.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) give us material you do not own or have permission to submit; (b) give us material that infringes intellectual property, defames any person, or is unlawful; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape or otherwise extract our software, models, prompts or methods; (d) use the Service to build a competing offering; (e) probe or test the security of the Service except under a responsible-disclosure arrangement with us; (f) use automated tools, bots or scrapers to access the Service.
13. Delivery Times
Delivery times shown on the Service are targets, not guarantees. If we materially miss a target for a reason within our reasonable control, we will tell you and give you a new date. Delays caused by late or incomplete material from you, maintenance, third-party outages or events beyond our reasonable control are not missed targets.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS, THE SERVICE AND ALL DELIVERABLES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. Coverage and other analyses are our professional opinion. We do not guarantee that any screenplay or project will be sold, optioned, financed, produced, distributed or commercially successful.
15. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BEL AIR'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID BEL AIR FOR THE SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT SHALL BEL AIR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, FINANCING, PRODUCTION COSTS OR DATA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Bel Air harmless from any claim, demand, loss or damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your violation of any law, union or guild agreement, or third-party right, (c) Your Material, or (d) your use of the deliverables.
17. Termination
You may close your account at any time through our contact form. We may suspend or close an account, or stop work on an order, if you breach these Terms or do not pay an invoice when due. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Your Material, Ownership, Estimates, Unions and Guilds, Confidentiality, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Dispute Resolution and Governing Law) survive.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. The version you accepted at checkout governs that purchase. Updated Terms apply to purchases made after the update and to continued use of the Service, and are posted here with a new version date.
19. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration
Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration in Delaware, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. You and Bel Air waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. Either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual-property or confidentiality matters.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
21. General
Electronic acceptance. Checking the box at checkout is your electronic signature and has the same effect as signing on paper. We record the date and time, the product, the version of these Terms, your email address and your device information as evidence of your acceptance.
Entire agreement. These Terms, the Refund Policy, the Script Submission Terms & Release and any written quote that refers to them are the entire agreement between you and Bel Air about the Services, and replace anything said or written before, including in a walkthrough or by email.
Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, that part is enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the rest of these Terms stay in effect.
No waiver; assignment. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them to a successor to our business.
Business purchases. If you buy on behalf of a company, you confirm the purchase is for business purposes.
